Mission

ROAD TO WELLNESS is a eco-mobility project, funded by the European Community and the Lombardy Region, who intend to promote new forms of tourism and new ways to enjoy our territory.

The main principles of our projects are:

• to use the bicycle, because it's an eco-friendly means of transport, which is also funny, sporty and healthy;
• to be eco-sustainable, by developing a low-environmental impact tourism, which preserves nature and our artistic heritage;
• to involve users and operators and encourage them to promote their own territory and exploit its tourism resources, according to a well-established cooperative model based on a combination of enjoyment and responsibility.
  

For these reasons, the 'Road to Wellness' project - which was submitted by the Lombardy region after an interregional call for applications published in September 2008 - was approved by the European Community, which is now funding 80% of the project's start-up costs.
