HOTEL CONCA AZZURRA - ISPRA

A route immersed in greenery, through the woods along the coastline from Ranco to Ispra.

 
An easy route, avoiding trafficked streets, immersed in the green landscapes of Lake Maggiore.

We leave from the hotel, taking the left-hand road, and after a stretch flanked by villas and gardens we reach Professor Ogliari's European Transport Museum. There are no words to describe this place, just trust that it is a must-see which will enthrall and delight adults and children alike.

We then continue along the road, surrounded by lush vegetation, until we reach an intersection with the 3V route (Vie Verdi Varesine, the Varese Green Roads), which we take for a lovely stretch all the way to the beachside of Ispra, a great spot for sunbathing and completely safe swimming.

The route is an unpaved road, perfectly cared for and mostly in the shade, winding through cultivated fields, ancient villas and excellent farmhouse restaurants. To take the footbridge, you will need to get off your bike. Ispra itself is certainly worth a stop: its excellent winery and top-class patisserie are highly praised by all visitors.
Upon reservation through local agencies it is possible to try out water sports such as wakeboarding or waterskiing.  To return we will make our way back along the same road.
